The Society actively encourages involvement by, and is committed to supporting, postgraduates and early-career researchers.

Postgraduate and early-career members of the Society benefit from reduced membership and conference fees. Membership includes access to the Society’s online journal Dix-Neuf. For a copy of the membership form, please see the Society’s Membership pages.

Early-career researchers (ECRs) will normally be understood to mean post-doctoral researchers within 3 years of their PhD/DPhil viva, or within 7 years if they have not yet been appointed to a permanent full-time academic post.
